A craftsman made it at a press factory near Tokyo. It is made by pressing a brass plate, and the letters, eyes, nose, etc. are inked. The backside is a badge, so you can attach it to your clothes or bag like a brooch. As it is made of solid brass, the more you use it, the deeper the color will change.
