Prada is holding a pop-up shop at the long-established London department store Selfridges from September 2nd. In collaboration with the classic Italian fashion label, TRAVELER’S COMPANY™ will unveil a TRAVELER’S notebook™ Brass Pencil and Brass Ballpoint Pen, and so on.
Prada was founded in 1913 in Milan, Italy. The label originally developed mainly through luxury leather goods, but The turning point came when the granddaughter of the founder, Miuccia Prada, partnered with Tuscan entrepreneur Patrizio Bertelli to combine creativity with business acumen and lay the foundations for the ensuing international expansion at the end of 1970. These days, Prada is a globally recognized fashion brand with stores throughout the world. Recently, they announced Re-Nylon collection. The entire range is made with recycled nylon, the material which they originally used to craft their historic nylon bag. This announcement, coupled with their commitment to make all nylon products from recycled nylon by 2021, shows that Prada’s innovative spirit continues to thrive.
For this collaboration, TRAVELER’S COMPANY will offer TRAVELER’S notebook with Prada logo on its leather cover as well as three kinds of refills. The back of the camouflage pattern refill features an upside-down rose print so that the innovative designs so indicative of Prada on either side can function as the front cover. We will also be releasing a range of products, such as the Brass Pencil and Brass Ballpoint Pen, both with laser-engraved logos; a Brass Clip with the silhouette of the triangular logo cut out; and customizable items, like Brass Tag, Leather Zipper Case and sticker.
